Maměnka and Libušín

The wooden houses Maměnka and Libušín, which were built in 1898 thanks to the members of the Pohorská jednota Radhošť touring association, belong to the most valuable historical buildings in the Beskydy mountains. The entrusted architect Dušan Jurkovič designed the buildings in the Art-nouveau style. In so doing he saw that the buildings have an impression of the Slavonic folk architecture. Nowadays the buildings fall under the authority of the Wallachian Open-air Museum and acquired a status of a national cultural monument.
